Brief History of Eman Schools

2005 – Doors open to 13 students in Preschool – 1st grade


2006 – Eman Schools adds 2nd grade


2007 – 2nd Expansion Complete, which adds 6 new classrooms multipurpose room. Student enrollment grows to 78 in preschool – 6th grade. Eman Schools adopts Accelerated Reader & Math. First year to participate in Spelling Bee Regionals.


2008 – Eman Schools adds 7th grade and becomes a Freeway Accredited School by the Indiana Department of Education. Enrollment grows to 105. In addition to participating in spelling Bee Regional’s, school holds first Science Fair.


2009 – 8th grade is added and student enrollment grows to 115. Students participated in Science Fair and Spelling Bee Regional’s, Math Bowl Competition (4th& 5th), and students in Algebra Class Participated in the ICTM (Indiana Council of Teaching) Test. Students also participated in Fundraisers for Haiti, Pennies for Patients, and Jump for Heart.


2010 – Phase #3 begins with the addition of the High School Program.

This accomplishment followed years of investigation and planning by Alhuda Foundation, who sought to establish a high quality of education for Muslim children from Fishers and surrounding cities.
